Synopsis
The Girl is a saleslady in a local department store. Her everyday life is composed of an exhausting commute home; the Manager who always seems to have something to say about her physical state; her co-worker, Ted who is obviously interested in her but can’t take a hint; from the catcallers near where she lives. When she finally gets home, there’s no one there but her Roommate who couldn’t care less about her. All that is about to change when she reaches the gate to her boarding house and finds a peculiar looking gun right on her doorstep. Suddenly, she can do anything she wants, talk back to whoever she wants, and even hurt anyone she wants. All the bitterness she felt towards those who have wronged have come spilling out all because of the gun. One by one, she takes revenge on those who did her wrong: the Manager, the catcallers, the store owner down the street, and her violent Roommate’s Boyfriend. Her ultimate revenge though, is Ted, her co-worker. She stalks him one night with the intent of putting him in her place. We follow the story of The Gun. We watch as it gets made in a dingy underground warehouse and gets passed along various characters of Metro Manila: a corrupt cop, a father, a teenage boy, a transman and finally, The Girl.
